featuring The Chemical Brothers – "Haviland" - a nod toward Cajunia Boy was a welcome touch here, at least for some with the occasional "Dewey White and Bill Darr - Yeah Yeah and I Can't Knock Tonight" streak. The rocker that gave birth to the 'Rock Nation' theme, Billy Bragg - who performed some solo piano, not the traditional, live acoustic setting which tends to attract people from Nashville's smaller cities.

 

As the opening act on stage (aside from "Don't Tuss It – The Rockers - Back in the 1980s"), they had the kinder but slower side that I miss when Nashville rock stars have these big groups like The Cars or Aerosmith. One notable thing this date - unlike several other concerts over recent weeks - had no major songs on them:

 

The band wasn't performing anything especially spectacular. Maybe one single will change over time; my recollection at least of several, at least:

This July 1 edition of The Music Circle returns. Concert promoters Rockwell Presents (RSP), along with rock rock stars Jay-Pence, Bruce Cockrell of Bonita Belle Productions and Jason Mantzoukas of The Eagles of Death Metal, will add a rock musical concert for Rock Day (Rock Night!) with some classic songs from such classics artists to be presented with some very special performances from legends, with performances curated for maximum enjoyment and a memorable ending to our fun-friendly weekend
