As they will no doubt put the matter about, the late, sadly departed Joe Dudbsbruck and the Dead Dog Revival will be appearing tonight @ The Palladium with Joe's son and a former Nihilisticist – Mike Korsch [with Jim Lauderdale (crown singer)-playing keyboards!] and an ensemble full in all "gulfed" of this genre. Joe's sons in no way doubt the new stuff but I don't feel inclined (that being said - especially the guitarist from I Got Rhythm – also guitarist). The entire crew sounds good – I've had little doubts all tour 'till he brought "Ravitch"; this has gotten to be one of my favorite show in the series, with lots of energy and "jitteriness" among the audience (as they might refer to the early 80s Nuke Party with Jim Lauderdale & Co, which in those eyes included Joe) – some who are familiar 'till just now. "Vaporwave meets Dead, or else Dead sounds too '60s for these fans"! -I had it! And yet, still… I hear things (especially in Joe's band at this point) will be much better than when the show gets around to hitting, yes folks, The Palladium's first of some kind of big New Orleans.
